T H E I R W O R L D:
It's a modern/futuristic world with a lot of computer controlled items making life very clean and efficient, but maintaining a victorian town exterior. Solaris and company live on the continent called Aurelia. Aurelia's size is about the size of Australia. On Aurelia, the government is a single monarchy, followed by two sub-branches which are the senate and the congress (which run about the same as the United States branches). The town we start out with is called Potami, the town where the trio live in. The places they eventually travel to will be revealed as the story continues. Stay tuned!

T E R M S:
Detachment: a punishment for seriously criminal offenders. It involves ripping out the five essential emotions (along with everything that goes under the top five) and leaving the feeling of pain and hollowness (purposfully). However, the pain and hollowness feelings are enhanced to make it feel 5x worse that usual. This was originally a defect but the inventors of Detachment are not complaining about.
