Ross Town Girls
What are we doing this season?
Herefordshire FA started a new under 15 league this season. However it soon became apparent that there would be only 3 teams competing. Hereford FA may believe that is a viable football league but we do not. Therefore this season we are playing eleven a - side friendly matches.

We hope to arrange matches whenever possible but it is difficult at this stage of the season. However when teams that play in nearby counties drop out of their various cup competitions they may have spare Sundays to play us. Meanwhile please try to come along to training whenever you can.
What about next season?
Next season we hope to apply to join the Gloucestershire U16 Girl’s League. This is a competitive league with quite a few teams involved. However we will need to attract more players to the club and raise our standards. But it will be worth it because we will be playing regularly in a well organised league. We have a good name in the Gloucestershire League as the previous Ross Town Ladies second team won the Fair Play Shield (out of all the Women’s teams in Gloucestershire and many in Somerset) in both seasons it played in the League. We also hope to enter various pre season events.
Sportswear
We hope to buy new kit for next season and we will try and find a sponsor to help with the purchase of kit as well as general team expenses. We are going to stay with green and black as it is very distinctive. We will need numbers on the shirts. Also we want to obtain new club tracksuits, again in green and black with embroidered badge and players initials. Not too sure of the price of these as yet but we will try to keep it as low as possible.
