Online Character Creation Extender 4 NWN- (October 2004) (Win2K/WinXP)
- ONLY
|
|
Written in VB/VC .NET
WHAT DOES IT DO? Allows you to create both SERVERVAULT and localvault characters with wings, tails and lets you set the hidden textures for both the tattoo settings and hair/skin. All current NWN versions (confirmed up to 1.65) and CEP content supported. Features like wings/tails have been lying dormant due to NWNs outdated character creator. Until now it has been impossible to give players wings without 3rd party programs server side as Bioware have neglected to add scripting support to take advantage of these settings. Well now there is an alternative that allows players to enjoy these features online without trying to bypass security or sequester the intervention of an Admin for each and every new character. Note: Requires FLASH Player 7 (install with IE) and .NET Framework 1.1 Runtimes installed.
Latest Release: Beta v 1.2 - Released - 20/10/04 - Rigidly enforced against vanilla characters being
created. Redundancy added. This file is also hosted on nwvault.ign.com
|
| Note: FLASH Player 7 is required by the
GUI. Get it here: http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/
Note: MS .NET Framework 1.1 is also required by this program. Get it

Known bugs with the latest build - Beta
1.2 - Possibility to crash under certain circumstances when NWN is initially launched. This is a non-critial bug that can be clicked past. Changes still take effect. - <Reported but unconfirmed> - Crash after RUN is clicked but before NWN is launched. User reported running German NWN executable. - Program starts with white (blank) form. Not really a bug. Means Flash is not installed correctly. Install using the IE browser. - Program does nothing when RUN is clicked. Again not a bug. You are running Win98/ME which is not supported at the present time (but coming).
