Reflections: Thoughts from an entertained fool

Won Bin // Ryuhei Matsuda Release your heart ···+KASANARU

FAST FORWARD TO >>> About -- OUT! LOOK

Aside from this site I have two others which I couldn't fit it all in without making one huge mess here. I will warn you now that it will create a new window when you click on them. Since last year, I have completely scrapped the whole 'love // lust' blogs concept because I just didn't had the time to keep them updated and by the time I came back, I just had enough of it basically. This time around, these two sites that I have mashed together revolves around the theme 'reflections'

I think I will talk about the one on the left. Seems logical enough.

Fang Kai Ni De Xin ... +KASANARU or for those who can't read the first part in Chinese // Mandarin means 'Release your Heart' and this was inspired by Wang Lee Hom's song which comes from his 2004 album 'Shrang-la.' Kasanaru is the Japanese word roughly meaning 'to pile up.' I can't seem to remember how I came up with the name Kasanaru last year but I think it partly stemmed from watching a Ken Hirai music video called 'Omoiga Kasanaru sono mae ni' (Before the memories piles up)

+KASANARU is my partly a personal and icon journal (even though I haven't actually posted any new icons since last year but my gosh it's coming!) So in a way, the title really fits in with my livejournal because I'm revealing a little bit more about myself every time I post an entry and at the same time, I'm piling these entries up. Just a side note that my journal is friends only so you need to comment and have some things in common in order to read my journal, which is pretty bland at the moment since nothing much has happened since I've returned from Sweden. Yes. England sucks a little at the moment. The icons are however, public.

'Rainbow in my Soul' is the 2nd layout's name featuring the very lush Korean actor Won Bin. He's a pretty softhearted adorable guy who have been in dramas and films like 'Autumn in my heart' 'Taegukgi' and 'My Brother'. I can't really say much about him because he's a pretty private man but he has mentioned once that the whole idea of dubbing him as a 'pretty boy' is getting too old for him because he's supposed to be a man now. That's about it.

I think now I will briefly talk about the one on the right. Since that's the only one left to blab about...

OUT! LOOK is basically a media review site though there's nothing reviewed as of yet because my essays and other agendas is up to my neck at the moment but I'm determined to find some time to post my reviews revolving around mostly Asian media because in recent years, that's what I've been indulged into. Even though I was born and raised in England, my interest in English and American media has declined immensely. I still love the classic films and music but newer western music // film knowledge is pretty limited at the moment unless I'm out with my friends which is getting scarcer because most of them are looking for full time jobs. I think it's quite straightforward why I called the site OUT! LOOK but I guess I was playing around with the word outlook.

'Mind Tricks' is the 1st layout for this site featuring the talented Japanese actor Ryuhei Matsuda. He's the son of Yusaku and Miyuki Matsuda who are really famous for their acting contribution in Japan. Though the task to follow on his parents' footstep seemed pretty daunting at first, Ryuhei has risen to be one of the prominent actors and has an extensive filmography to his name like Gohatto, Nana, Aoi Haru, Showa kayo daizenshu and more recently Big Bang Love: Juvenile A. He also works alongside Masanobu Ando (one of my favourite actors) on several occasions. The site will hopefully open at the beginning of October with a couple of finished reviews.

To finish things off, I'm happy that I now have 3 layouts of guys from 3 different countries in Asia and I feel like I'm embracing more of my Asian roots than ever before. There's still a lot of work to be done obviously but I'm hoping that more people will become interested in Asian culture.
