There had been a wooden Saxon Church at Ringmore, Devon since the seventh century.
The present church was built in the thirteenth century as a thanks offering by the Lord of the Manor on returning from the crusades.
The church has been rebuilt and restored several times but remains the same size and shape as when it was built.
