Four of the eight registered teams had a good run in January, particularly the two "C" teams who won all their matches.
The Men's "A" were unlucky to be held to a draw by HKFC "E", and they slipped a notch to 2nd place as a result. Also in 2nd place are the Men's "C" team whose only loss so far this season was to Valley "E". We are looking forward to the return leg when we will hopefully reverse that result.
Elsewhere, the Ladies' "B" beat two of the toughest teams in their division, but faltered against Valley "B". They should be in the top three in their division, but we don't know that for sure as the association's website has once again been lacking and the tables have not been updated for a while. Definitely in the top three are the Ladies' "C" team following their two victories in January, and the Ladies' "D" team ended its losing streak by beating Swire Hall, this after a good bollocking from coach Mike Franco.

Amongst the goal-scorers, Andy Kan continues to lead the pack with 14 goals in 13 games, but he is being hard pressed by newcomer Siu Kin Wai of the Men's "D" team and veteran Lo Wen Chee of the Ladies' "B".

And A Cat
Irene and I have long wanted to get a pet for Curtis, and it finally arrived on January 5th. Some people think I hate cats: not true. There was one that my sister had that I couldn't stand, but otherwise I love all animals. Click on my links below to visit my Webshots page and view images and clips of our furball.
