Richard Lindenberg, wanted to make his musical master piece for a long while. In the year 2003 I met him at a rock festival "keut in rock". From that moment we decided that I would make the cover for his CD. On the right you see the final CD, and below here I write about the design of it. Not only the CD but i will cover the cover as well.

Starting at below, the circle and 'Magua' tekst.
Magua is placed over the famous leonardo davinci sketsh, he saw the man as center of the universe and placed him in the middel of a circle.

Then going left below the song title's.

We humans wanted to look beyond their selves to make contact in the univers.

Then with some spirals and numbers, actually the course from the two voyager probes going out of our solar-system. I see the spirals and numbers as our current time in which we calculate a lot it's our new computer age.

Then under the CD title we see a face from the face on Mars once a popular topic of discussions well try this google face on mars
A strange mountain that looks like a human face

If that really would be true then where would it put as, are we still in the center of our universe like Davinci thought, such thoughts such mysteries. See the CD Requiem as this knowledge of the past and keep those thoughts. It's the feeling what i have expressed in the model painting. Looking at a man from behind. As if we look at our selves, our knowledge, us.
Let it be remembered let it be a ... Requiem.....

The same story counts for the front and back of the cover, ehm the cover up.
Here a picture on the voyager CD replaces the spirals. The picture about our famous greeting to any little green space fellow. I've zoomed into it below :

It's placed over the mars face again which is behind the Leonardo Davinci's picture. On the backside we find again the model figure which makes the CD story again repeating itself.

Here the inside of the cover. It is in contrast with the outside, this makes an attractive surprise. The focus is here about the band. Displaying images of Richard and Laura.

On the real version, this was a final concept also the lyrics are displayed, but fore here i'll put the attention to the image only. As you wouldn't be able to read the verry small letters on the image. for the lyrics go here

I've put Richards face on the background to put the focus on the hair patern which i've mirrored.
Like on a movie screen, all other picures light over this background hair. And there are a lot of pictures, about 26 layers have been used.
The total image was about 80MB
(that's about 54 floppy disks).
