Land of Kudo
Features
Big question: what makes "Land of Kudo" so special compared to the games made by other RMXP/RM2K+ enthusiatists?
1 - Land of Kudo is a growing game. Like Runescape, the landscape of the map will change as I find new things to add or enhance. This leads to feature 2. However, if there is anyone who would like to contribute to making the land a more original place, send me a comment so that I can make arrangements.
2 - Wing of Safe Return: adopted from Shining Force 3, this skill allows a player to be teleported to a safe location. Even if they are trapped on a mountain that seemed to grow out from nowhere since the last update. Hehehe.
3 - No more random encounter. For some reasons the game seemed to always go against us. There is never any enemies when we need them (leveling up) and they always show up when we loathe them (player low on HP and MP). This leads to feature 4.
4 - Tactics, deception, avoidance. The art of detouring can be practised so that unnecessary battles can be avoided. Yes, you can avoid those weak/strong monsters and focus on the ones you wish to prey on. Isn't that nice?
5 - Mouse Click and Walk. YES! The illustrious point'n click system that many RMXP makers have been seeking. It is possible! It can be done! It has been done!!
6 - Pathmanship. Not just clicking, it also involved path finding! No more moving around with the keypad, just click and the sprite will find a path to walk to. This feature works only when you click on a passable tile so look before you click.
7 - Original Sprite. Featured in all RMXP games, we strived to use original sprites that are not provided in the standard RTP package. And of course, I will make sure to credit the makers as well.
8 - No gold? Yelp, monsters do not drop gold. Why would they if don't carry any? Fine, something in a fantasy cannot be explained with logic but I prefer otherwise. I would rather the monsters drop stuffs that they would have (some body parts, limbs or possessions; yes, I am sadistic).
More features will be added later ...
