Promotional leaflet As part of the redevelopment and management restructure of the Forgemen I was given the task to design and produce and quick and simple brochure that would encompass the Forgemen; who we are, what we do and what we’ve done. The leaflet is the result of a couple of hour’s work – a PDF document that can be emailed to schools, businesses, any interested person or potential member. The brochure can be printed from any person’s printer on standard A4 paper, or preferably an every day photo paper, that keeps the cost down. If you have more pennies than us, purchase some premium photo paper for best effect. The end product (see the PDF file) to get the required result, in my opinion does not have to be picture perfect. The photos I have used aren’t of fantastic resolution, I have not added the Forgemen’s logo yet, the DCUK and BYBA logos are not the correct ones, I haven’t asked permission yet!! Some of the wording needs looking at. BUT having already emailed the brochure as it is to a school this week, the response exceeded our expectations. The lady concerned was ‘over the moon’, the quality of presentation was excellent, very well laid out, easy to read and understand, very appealing to the eye – these were some of the comments I received. In light of the above I am offering to create something similar to bands that would see benefit from their own customised brochure. Get some text together, find some photos, send them to me and I’ll get something put together in a very short time. Use some of the text already in the brochure, have a look on other band websites and pinch a bit of their text, send me your band logo and photos on email (if not post me the stuff and I will scan it in.) Think of a tag line ‘Music in Motion’, ‘Made in Sheffield’ etc If interested please email me and we can discuss. Regards Tony |
